I didn't know this, can you compare runet to english/international part of the internet when it comes to making money?
Can russian webmaster make a living from his websites or does he needs to turn to english speaking part of the web to make some $ ?

I know runet very well ( and language, because my wife is russian ) and this simple tool was created exactly for Yandex search engine. It get only basic information for english.

Actually, about 55% of russian web is satellites( that is network of hundreds- thousands websites with backlinks to your website) . About 60% of satelites is not readable, but spun only for search engine. Another part of satellites is made from scanned books. Webmasters buying any old book, which could have unique content on the web, scan then convert to text and then they have satellite with 300-500 unique articles. They sell this website or promote it and earn money from backlinks...

Actualy , Runet is totaly different world
