Thread: Question :Can Google Pedictive search be influenced

A new company came into the local Dallas,TX. area and dominated the bathtub refinishing organic search market within a matter of 6 weeks. The predictive search goes to them so of course they have goggle plus, business site, 2 websites all ranked high on that key word which is "Dallas bathtub pros" by the time you type [Dallas Batht].... it predicts {Dallas Bathtub Pros} the old phrase that all of us shared was "Dallas bathtub refinishing" any ideas on how to get that back? Should I just rank key words for 'Dallas bathtub pros' or fight... any ideas?

Are they using AdWords advertising? They may have allocated additional advertising funds through their startup period. It could also be print or direct mail that is driving people to search for the specific term. Also Google predictive relies on your search history so you need to check on another computer that has not been used to check the key words and on which you are not signed in to any of your accounts. Probably just search for 'bathtub refinishing'.

It jumps up refinishing reviews then the bathtub pros take bake over. Back in June my google page was pulling up and I was knocking out work like crazy. Thank you so much for your reply. It honestly helped me take my next step!

Google has series of algorithms which are most of the time in process, so definitely Google notices all our activities which we do to rank our website and can understand that we are trying to influence the search engine rankings.
