I checked my cpanel awstats and found that graphics/zoomout.cur is getting more views than the website's index page. Can this be the reason my website is getting less traffic for this month?

It appears that a .cur file type is a cursor file. It may be called for every page that is viewed or even multiple times on one page. I doubt that it is related to your traffic problem. If you get primarily organic traffic look at Google's recent algorithm updates.

Actually I have .cur on every page and the codes are same from past 5-6 months and it never happened like .cur got viewed more. But for my surprise this time suddently .cur start getting more views abd overall traffic to the website was seen to be decreased. Can u say more about "I doubt that it is related to your traffic problem." what u had said in previous reply.
If traffic has slowed and you have not made major changes you should probably look at external causes. If you have lost ranking for your keywords traffic will be reduced. That is why I suggested the recent Google major update as a possible cause.
