Split article/post in few pages instead of paragraphs. Also consider adding more links inside that page to some interesting and related articles...

IMT Website Submitter(Indexer)
Does your headline drag them in? Does each paragraph on the entry page draw them to the next? Are you using cliff hangers to lead them to the next page? Are you entertaining them while they are learning something?
Or?
Is the entry page just a... Hey! Buy this! type of page?
according to my opinion, You should publish original and quality content with strong internal link such as related topic, best searching topic and many more.
First of reduce your web page load time, and refresh content and target real user.
Use catching internal links and try to make your post long.
You must be update the content and use the quality content and don't use the internal links that redirect to another topic webpage and avoid the pop ups from your site.
Try to add relevant videos, presentations in articles or post.
fresh content give more internal links in your site use less adds
As per my experience, you need to develop contents which can be consumed in short span of time along with content you should Create landing pages which are visually appealing & load fast.
Check your website spam in Google.
You can see that a lot of it comes from Russian IP addresses and they are on the site for less than 1 second. However, it is not just RU IP addresses. If you identify all of the <=1 second visitors OR you only do business in certain countries, then you can block all other countries via your .htaccess files on your server. This will dramatically reduce your bounce rate and it is a more common problem than you might think.
Also, take time to look at the content on your website. Is it engaging? I like to use some HTML Canvas integrations, just to amuse people. It makes people have a good feeling about your brand.
Finally, if your website is an article site or blog, make sure to keep your content engaging. Offer them a good read, followed up by an opportunity to learn more with a downloadable, which will help your lead generation.
Hope this helps!
Cheers!
