Thread: Best SEO strategy to promote transcription services website?

Hi,

Recently I have been trying to rank a transcription services website in Google. I've been working on it since two months but the result is Zero! The website is sinking in rankings and I'm really troubled. I'm using blog submission back-linking by posting a new blog on weebly and other sites. The results are not at all what I desire and I need your opinions to learn where I'm going wrong.

Thank you for kind suggestions. They are great but the problem I face here is that my client wants his website to appear in the top rankings on Google. He is more obsessed with Google rankings than social media at the moment and this is why I will have to work on any strategy that will make it rank on top.

If I start social media, it will bring traffic, but will it help in improving the ranks? IS it possible? If so, could you please provide some details? Thanks

Social media can't help to improve rankings. To improve you may get a webpage with keywords. Do not stuff keywords, use it wisely. Maintain a blog to get backlinks for that keyword and use synonyms instead of using the exact match keyword. Publish regular guest blogs, articles and press releases.
These methods will help you to get improvement. First rank is not guaranteed because noone can give assurance for that. If your client force you then give him a simple example that even Google is not ranking on #1 on search query "Best Search Engine".

First of all you check your keyword search volume and competition, so use SEO keeping in view your keywords, No double social media is also very beneficial for this, but most important is your contents which you submit on you blog.

Do some keyword research and try to rank for the low competition keywords at first, then move on to the high competition keywords. In this way, you can get result much faster. Referring to competitor research, it's essential to analyze the top 10 websites. Are there any weak websites? Is there any website with pr0, zero backlinks? Or any website with less than 30 backlinks and no authority links? If there is some weak websites in the top10, you can be sure that you can beat them very easily. And don't do submission backlinks which are low quality. This method is for 2008. No longer works for 2014.
