Thread: Need help - my site Disappeared for a keyword

Hi Guys,
My website penalized for a keyword, but 2 other main KW's are ranking #3 and #9.
But the first keyword is not ranked in first 200 Results.
we had this keyword #16, #12, #10 and now, completely disappeared.
So, What you think? its over optimization or ..?

Its happening sometimes , how many days since your website dissapeared for that specific keyword ?

Have you seen any manual penalty in your web master tool? Because I have not seen any recent update from Google, which may cause such type of heavy fluctuation.

Its not that ranking changes just during Google updates, it can change anytime. I think there can be some kind of penalty for over optimizing that keyword. Google does not even inform on such kind of penalties it just has to be analyzed. I would suggest to not work on that keyword for 1 or 2 weeks. In-fact be a little alert with other keywords, because Google has a strict eye on websites trying extra efforts to rank their particular keywords.
