I've been deploying websites on a Macintosh since the 1990's. There's a handful of Mac friendly SEO software programs that run cross platform for Mac OSX / Windows / Linux -- but the trend for many SEO, keyword research, link building, and competitive analysis is moving to web-based submitters and services just using a web browser.

I've blogged and written about all these at length at submitterformac.com and mac-seo-tools.com -- Of the standalone SEO apps, I consider MarketSamura (which uses Adobe Air to run cross-platform) to be the most essential and critical program that every Mac webmaster should invest in if you own multiple domains. Must have. Otherwise there's plenty of free and low-cost web-based apps and services that work fine in Apple's Safari or Mac Firefox for most of your other SEO and Marketing tasks.
