Sorry you asked for a simple trick- But this isn't simple and this isn't a trick:
If your keywords are low competitive, you can still rank in a month. But if they are highly competitive, then you need to work hard on content marketing through blogs. If your content is sincerely liked only then is a chance that you may rank for your keywords.
I am very, very tempted to answer your question with a joke or with sarcasm. Either you're a real noobie or you just don't get it. Maybe I should answer your question with a question: If it was easy and a matter of a simple trick to get websites onto Google first page wouldn't EVERYONE have their websites on first page?
just update your website time to time & post your daily work on high page rank websites use forums, blog commenting, blog postiong, article submission, directory & bookmarking submission etc.

But actually jokes on a side, I see this trend of google scaring people not to do SEO anymore and it is working very well,
which I see like a great opportunity for us true SEOers.
I think this is a great time to get engaged in affiliate marketing and SEO again, because competition is almost all gone :).
I love your point here though I usually apply this kind of principle especially from areas that I find a lot of competition to start and just get back when the storm is over.

If you have high budget, yes you can do it. You can use google adwords, advertise on blog that have high PR. Please just make sure that you advertise on target, if not you only waste your money. If you dont have budget, you need to take step by step to reach the top. Sounds good right? hehe.... Optimize your site, playing forums, submit informative article, etc.

Update your site 5 time a day. use unique content, and apply good SEO on your site.. These three things will help you to bring your site on google first page...! Use keyword tool for selecting good keywords. ADD your site on google by indexing in google webmaster tool. Do these thing for 3 to 4 month. You will definitly see improvments. My blog was shown on google's first page after 4 to 5 months, so give some time to google. don't do hurry.

SEO is changing all the time. Google update for a reason. The most important thing you need to do in todays age is to make it look natural. Right here on this forum Nemanja has provided tools for you to use. Now they cost $5 a pop but it is better than going to Fiverr for the same price - he works hard at delivering quality. Use the bookmark & wikilinks to help you out and make sure that you do not just use your main KWs to link.
Also, the shift is now on. Email collection and the phrase 'the money is in the list' will no longer be true. Well to a certain extent. Gmail has announced that tabs in their Gmail will allow a user to have all emails with the can spam wording put directly into a folder/tab. This means that the open rate will fall dramatically and the money one makes from email marketing will fall. Marketers are moving to other methods like... - well that is a whole new thread.
You tube videos are still working and as someone said before, a lot of people are moving away from SEO. NOW is the time to get back on board - but using different tactics.

Sometimes You can do a jump onto top of search result but the harder part is keeping your site there. This is why you need to do it usual way continuous supply of unique content to your site and slow but steady link building.
Also even this probably won't get there for high competitive keyword phrases like Loans, mortgage, Lawyers etc. In these cause try less competitive keywords related to it.
It is not a simple and easy trick to get high ranking of a website. There is one simple solution to get high ranking is link building. In my view, there is no fastest way. Only the way that is being used by all, what matters the most is using the rightest ways.
Unique text is a must, but i think it isn't a must to update the text allways, i mean to add new content. After you setup the content on your site in propper amount ( not only 5 lines) and on page optimazion, than more important is the back link building. This is the A-and O to push your site. i am currently on some testing, to push a static site with hard keywords to top 10. The site is not old, but slowly slowly it is working and site is allready in the top 100. The right linkbuilding the the key.
Yep we can't control it since there are to many factors working like competition etc. What we can control is the traffic flow. We can find more ways to get more traffic to our sites. No point of waiting for Google to rank you and send you traffic.Quote:
