Thread: Scammed on DP - What to do?

Hello,
I am being scammed on DP with 60.50$ for article writing service.
What should I do now?
I don't want to give him itraders because if he do give me back which I think he will and that will be a lie, so in this case, what do you suggest??

Go back to DP and report it to the mod, simple

Then the whole point in the itrader system is flawed, leave them negative feedback and contact a moderator, explain what's happened and provide as much evidence as possible.

Post a bad review and contact someone from DP. Was payment via paypal? If so, just put in a ticket to have the payment reversed. You have 99% chance of getting a refund.

Ii would go with this one and also give him/her negative Itrader and don't worry about him giving it to you.

You want get a refund because paypal does not refund digital items and has no buyer protection on it.

DP is full of scams.

I'm in the same boat. I let my guard down on my usual 'upfront payment', and now have three clients not paying. Unlucky for them I have their URLs.......

Complain to DP + PayPal, get your money and then never go back to DP because it sucks.

I was scammed $250, all i got was a sample of what my webpage would look like.

Never do business with not reputable members if you need to make upfront payment.
If member hasn't got any rep or it isn't trusted member then always make payment when the job is done.
Same for buyers as well.
This applies to all forums and buy/sell/trade websites, IMTalk.org is not an exception either!!

Maybe be it's nasty but it has to be done.Also post about this in his topic. Anyone who check your iTrader will see the topic and understand the whole story. Like Nemanja said don't pay big amounts upfront unless you are will to take the risk. Specially from New members. It's nearly impossible to get a refund for this type of products give it a try anyway. I don't think DP mods would do much expect giving the guy a suspension or ban.

DP is getting full of Scammers! Report it to the Mods, and if possible, issue a Paypal dispute.
