Improving adsense income

what are the best ways to skyrocket your adsense earnings. I am only getting a few cents per click. Is this normal?

There are several things which matter,

01. Your site niche - If your site is about a low paying keyword like entertainment niches then you get very low paying clicks
02. Your traffic has to be from USA, Canada or at least from European countries like UK, Germany and France.
03. You have to optimize your site layout to get the maximum visibility of Ad units.
04. Traffic - more quality traffic means more clicks and money
