The range of payment from affiliate programs is from ~1% to 100%. It is possible to make good money with low percentage programs if you do volume. Your job as an affiliate marketer is to produce traffic to the affiliate site that converts. Just throwing a few banners up on your site is usually not enough, you need to pre-sell the products so that your visitors that click through are interested in the products that you offer. Choose your products wisely and send traffic that converts and you will do well.
