What do you think of joining Amazon Affiliate Program and selling Amazon products/

Is there anyone who is earning money from Amazon Affiliate Program?

Please share your experience, I also want to use Amazon Affiliate Programs, as in some niches I'm not able to use Adsense, these niches may be related, adult, gambling etc. where Adsense doesn't allow you..

i start 3 days ago and no item i could sale

I don't think there are many Adult and Gambling items at Amazon. There are things like Adult DVDs and some stuff but not a lot. I use Amazon and have a decent conversion rato around 8%.

Does Amazon also leave a cookie behind? So for example when they will leave amazon and get back the next day to make the order, your still getting your money?

As I recall the Amazon cookie is of fairly short duration, maybe 24 hours. However, you will get credit if you drive a buyer to the site and they purchase any product, not just the product you are promoting. With the range of products on the site this happens with some regularity. You may be promoting a camera and someone that you send may look at the camera but then browse the site and buy a kitchen appliance or a book, you still get paid for the sale.

The cookie only last 24 hours but the good thing is Amazon have 1000's of items and we get a commission whatever our visitor buy from them. For example if we send an visitor through a $1 camera item link and if he buys a LED TV then we get commission for the TV>

24 hours cookie and low comission is made up with their amazing conversion..
It is very easy to make sales from Amazon, if you know what you are doing.

I started last year and made $300 from 1 site on my first month, promoting only 1 product.

Can people from outside US join Amazon affiliate program? I have heard you only get credited for buyers from your area, hmm. Noone buys from Amazon where Im at.

It was a luck actually, the product was so hot and I jumped in at the right time. Nevertheless it gave me the motivation to pursue IM

I do have several amazon blogs.. and yes you do make money from it provided you know how to set it up.
i have a blog created a month ago.. and sold 4 items 2 days ago.. all traffic are from search engine..

I live in nc so I have send money to someone in other state.

i have 1 amazon site that i didn't think it was going to make me money but then i got an email from amazon that they were sending payments so i went to amazon and i made 140 dlls that month.

Just for 1 keyword and a little over 1000 searches/mo, i worked on it for a few weeks, i build some backlinks, and then i startes workig on some other sites. But after getting that email from amazon i checked on google and i was on page 1.

That was las january, i have not touch that site ever since and it's still making between $150 and $200 a month.

Selling on Amazon is as simple as:
- Find good niche and good product
- Make good content about it
- SEO your website to drive traffic
- Wait for conversion

I live from Amazon. My conversion rate for normal month is 1.5-2.5% but in Nov-Dec it will increased to 7-8% thanks to high shopping season in United States.
