Recently I got an email from Chitika about this offer. If you have more traffic to your sites, apply for it. As they say, $5 CPM. Isn't it great ?

Chitika works very well if you have over 75% traffic from USA. I guess this is what they review along with how many UV's you get from search engine. It won't hurt trying it out. $5 is a lot when it comes to CPM.

One of my friends used it while ago. He was having same result like from AdSense. Click value and CTR. But His blog / forum was about US state so around 80% his traffic was from USA.

great !! I heard that chitika pays well for search engine traffic too. According to what u said, chitika maybe the best after adsense.

Probably but only for those sites which has Lot of UV's from USA. Not even European traffic works well with it.

oppZzz, then its not a very good alternative to adsense. Maybe later Facebook will introduce some kinda ad network similar to google

Chitika only displays ads to search engine traffic. The ads displayed are dependent on the search term used to find your site. They may not even serve ads to visitors from other countries. Chitika is not good as an 'only' form of monetization for a site, it should be used as an additional option. They do have a way to place an alternate ad in the space if they are not serving an ad to your visitor.

Direct traffic does not trigger an ad. I don't know about traffic from bookmarking sites or Facebook.

As I recall it is possible to offer some alternative ad if Chitika does not serve an ad.

Clickbank also offers automated text link ad units that could be an alternative to Adsense for some people.

No point of using it unless your site has lot of US traffic. You can show other ads when their ads do not visible though. But I think it's better find another network. I wonder how good is Clicksor.

why not ? I'm searching for a better CPM network except tribal fusion because still I don't have enough UVs to get tribal fusion ads
