Can someone do a nasty thing to your adsense unit?

How can we avoid someone that want to do a nasty thing to our adsense unit. For example by doing a fraud click, for example someone come to your website then click hundred time to your adsense unit so as to make sure google banned you..

Is it possible that thing will happen?? Will google banned you even though you are innocent? Will google detect who did that fraud click?

I think they will see the IPs...

I only know this with Adwords competitors...

set a very low Clickprice...
then click hundred times on adwords ad on google websearch until the budget of the competitor is too low so your ads will replaced with his one. and you can enjoy a good adplacing with a low clickprice... lol.

But you must do it every day in the morning. When his daily budget is low you will not see his ads for the rest of the day.

Years ago this was a real problem competitors clicking each others ads and also click bombing. Google has taken steps to prevent this. Now they Audit your clicks in every 24 hours and remove all those suspicious clicks.

Now the biggest threat is your competitor can send harmful traffic to your site. End result would be Google banning you for low quality traffic. So yeah these thing can still happen. That's why never should 100% focus on AdSense. You need to have other methods for earning money too.

its not a big problem now, because google understood about the fraud click known as click bombing problem and they are now cancelling suspicious clicks. When u see something abnormal on your account, u can report it to google.
