Best Traffic sources after Google

Google no longer can be termed as reliable traffic source to your website. And its a better to have a back up plan, so that without Google also our websites gets decent traffic.

What are your best bets on traffic sources other than Google?

Yahoo, Bing and make use of social networks and web 2.0 properties like stumbleupon, technorati. they take a little time but never the less worth trying sometime

Another good thing about those list traffic is that they are niche targeted. I am also doing it but it takes time.

Forums provide a ton of traffic. Blog commenting can be good. Social media. Email lists. Offline efforts. I advise anyone with a website to move away from Google being your main source of traffic ASAP as no one knows what the future will hold with them. You'll be in a much stronger position if 90% of your traffic does not come from search engines. Remember Google is NOT the internet.

no doubt about it.. without google.. we are kind of lost and nothing to depend on.. but talking about backup plan... of course FB will be the top choice due to their user reach 1billion... and the 2nd is to build the list (email list with targeted consumer)

Here are some, and tbh I feel like only some sites worth with social media. There so much spam on there that if you dont have a big team behind it, it isnt worth it tbh.

- HIGHQUALITY Guest blogging
- Forum posting

These are still good methods for driving traffic, you just have to be dedicated but it will bring in targeted traffic.
