How far have you gone down the mobile route?

As in Website to be viewed easier on a mobile, or if you are a real geek, having an app developed for people to use your service on the go?

Mobile websites are very useful for any business. A well-optimized mobile website will increase your website daily visit volume and ultimately, increase your sales also.

The number of mobile users are growing every day and so is the internet usage. The number of people using handheld device to browse and buy stuff online is growing rapidly. It would be a smart decision to have a mobile version of the websites. It becomes easy for the mobile users to access and check the website. Google also treats the mobile version websites differently.

It's imperative nowadays to own a mobile friendly website, because according to recent studies, about 40% of the people who have a mobile phone use it for going online.

The mobile app ecosystem is quickly being dominated by a pervasive army of free apps, especially in Apple’s App Store.

Android phones are meant for Internet browsing. Now days people browse through phone. Mobiles are used for multipurpose.

Android and windows phones have become the platform of internet marketing. People do browing more from phones as compared to laptops or desktops. Now a days mobiles have become the basic need.

So, as blackout17 has asked, how far have you gone down the mobile website development route? Telling us about what its good for isn't really helping him make a decision about mobile websites.
