well i started answering on Yahoo after Reading your this post on forum and started Implementing it to get traffic to my Blog ..and Guess What i got it through yahoo .....Thanks for the Beneficial Post....

When first time I tried yahoo answers I got my account suspended for not following the scoring pattern or rule. So , its a suggestion after learning it is good for traffic but don't take it as a game. Answer every question in a proper manner. Don't rush to score points. And after level 2 or 3 decide a niche and focus on that only.

I am using it since last one year and couple of month ago I have build a brand new niche site and was not build a single link. Immediately after publishing few articles on my site I headed to yahoo answers to find out relevant questions to my site and left a GOOD INSIGHTS through answers to those questions and linked it back to my site.

To my surprise within next two day I have couple of sales and got few visitors from Yahoo answers. When I have done deep research I found that the questions which I have answered was ranking at #1 position for multiple long tail keywords and getting tons of organic traffic out of which few has been turned out to my site and I got few sales.

After this success I created following guidelines -

1. Find the relevant questions to your niche in Yahoo answers that RANK WELL in GOOGLE.

2. Write a great in-depth post on your blog answering that question.

3. Go to that question on Yahoo answer and write a short but sweet answer and leave your articles link in description.

4. Repeat the process.

5. Watch your traffic improving with TARGETED VISITORS.

I am very happy that someone has implemented this and got success. Yes you are absolutely spot on about the exact process to be followed in order to get success from Yahoo answers. I am quite confident that you will get more success in future also.

While it's a good idea, the moderators on yahoo answers are very strict. They quickly ban you because of the links even if your answers are helpful and not spammy.

Yes, Yahoo answers is a very good marketing method, but you really have to be clever in the way you do things there to promote your sites or they will surely ban you.

Yes you are right. Nofollow backlinks worked for me & still for my recent new website its working well. My websites 70% backlinks are nofollow. I thought that gonna make any bad effect on my site but its working positively. So all nofollow links are not bad. Just use your head man

Yes really it works, but try to give answer as needed and share your knowledge with other. Yahoo answer is good to generate traffic.
