In my niche at Yahoo Answers I haven't found when I tried many good questions to answer. I'm in the info-business, most questions are like: how to make money online too generic. But for other niches I'm sure yahoo answers can be good.

Just make sure not to put the link in every answer (just when it's needed).

I think it can be great for all niches and ecommerce.

No.
If you use relevant URL along with your answer, your account will always be safe.

If you do that it will be considered as good practice. And you will have negligible chance of getting your account banned.

There are few niches you have to be careful when adding answers for example questions about earning money online. If you add your site url no matter how good your answer it might get deleted even you might get suspended. There are lots of people fighting for this niche and some are even in higher levels so They would report/delete your answer most of the times. Also adding a link to every answer can get you suspended too. You have to give good answered to all questions but use your links only in few which has right title.

Great tips.. Through yahoo answers you can get the targeted visitors. But you have to be very careful don't create the spammy links as they are of no use.

One good tip about this Yahoo Answer strategy is to use moderately as well try to answer questions that are related to what you are trying to promote but please don't make obvious promotions or else your account can get suspended.

my yahoo answer account have 2 star rank, but yesterday I got suspended because any member reported my answer
