This question is about improving alexa rank for a website. Is there any unique method to improve alexa ranking?

Install alexa toolbar and visit your website 2-3 times in a day...tell your friends to visit your website and make sure that they have installed alexa toolbar.

there is a way, but I don't recommend you to do that.
Fake traffic can improve it.

I agree with you....This can significantly improve alexa rank. Also one can encourage its visitors to use the alexa toolbar

For a few bucks you can buy traffic. This significantly improve alexa ranking. But this type of traffic worth nothing. But why would you do that?

Install Opera and set the 'reload' time to 10 seconds. Then it will reload the current page (your site you want traffic to) numerous times a day. Set it and leave for an hour every day.

This trick can also be used with YT video views, but be careful, YT doesn't like one IP address only for the first 300 views. So do this until you get your first 250 views and then you need others to view. Once you get more than 3 IP addresses that are different, then set it and forget it until you have 300,000 views or more.

The best way to improve the Alexa ranking is to improve the quality and return to your website traffic, and the results will be reflected in the automatic acquisition of Alexa. Although Alexa has some way to manipulate the rankings, but they are not recommended.

I really wasn't aware that Opera has this useful functionalities. Also it is also true that installing Alexa toolbar helps to reduce alexa rank significantly. Anyway if your concern is traffic, Alexa ranking should not be your priority.

Huge traffic can only help you better in this regard as Alexa Ranking is basically based on traffic,the content of the website can only increase the traffic.

For this you must have to do proper SEO i mean white hat SEO so that automatically your site's alexa rank will be getting up.

I think content is not the point to get traffic. Good content may help to catch visitors attention. But traffic depends on good seo

Do the quality link building and have unique and innovative quality content.

Buy lots of traffic for your website for cheap.
Or start working on seo and use other methods to get some huge amount of traffic.
It will surely boost up your traffic and improve your Alexa rankings.
