I am working on SEO projects and i am getting some positive results ..!!

But you can also use all of them right? SEO and SMO are still the best methods though.

They all are best SEO technique , if we do without spamming so we can get good result.

There are many ways to get MASSIVE traffic.
I use this super-simple method:

1) purchase a $10 traffic campaign that send 10,000/20,000 visitors to my page (there are many of them, on the internet)

2) in my page I placed 12++ different banner-networks in order to capture impressions

END.

What it means?

Simple, the impressions of my banners produce targeted clicks that I will receive from the banner-networks. ;-)

I am definitely a noob at this. I have learned just enough to get me into trouble. Fortunately, I found this awesome forum before I wasted my money on all these get mass traffic quick gimmicks. I am googling digg and delicious strategies now.

Sometimes Google Adwords promotes some free coupons! Watch out for them and promote your site through their PPC program

Phoenyx you are absolutely right! The fact is the Google translate has been rather made for translating individual words instead of whole sentences(even if you have the option to do so).
I'm Hungarian though I speak English good( I think) every now and again I have to use it. The outcome of the translate(between Eng and Hun) is rather hilarious than useful.
And I'm absolutely with you on the English-Anfricaans translation!

Been using article marketing and social bookmarking for most part but i am not starting to try my hand a little at video marketing and some social media as i pick up more tips and stuff as i continue to gain some needed knowledge !

Why you avoid directory submission? Also it is a great way to generate traffic.

seo includes all of this elements. So when you are using seo then automatically you are using this all tools!

Some people say many of these sources are saturated but those are the ones which have ended up with failure and never thought of trying once again.

Well, it also depends on the niche and the type of website.
For example, youtube would be the best source of traffic for a tutorials website but not for a general articles blog, Ezine or any other articles directories would be best for that blog.
Hence, it just needs a little bit of research to find the best source of traffic for your website and scale it up to gets lots and lots of targeted traffic!

Article Submission is a great way of traffic. The links that comes from article also have good value to search engine.
Forum posting is also another good way for traffic. The content of forum indexed rapidly than others.

social media is probably the best solution for generating quick traffic, but SEO is more of a long term traffic source for a site.

I also agree that its one of the easy way to get traffic to your website, provided you have level 2 account.
