Tweetattacks sued by Twitter

Hi,

Tweetattacks was a wonderful IM software and now it seems to be the end of it. Twitter sued the developer of the software and he shot down all his sites that left all Tweetattacks customers with a non-functioning software.

I thought I'd open this thread to share all the latest info about the case.

It's not just tweet attacks, from what I've heard. TweetAdder is getting the same treatment. Twitter believes that users are using this software to spam twitter, and they want to pt a stop to it.

All the softwares like tweet attacks had to stop. Some of them got sued like TA some of them closed before getting hit..

I think its for the best seriously. If Twitter and Facebook (for example) were meant to be used that way, then software like that would have been part of the package. Its just not the way its meant to be used though. They are there to get people to interact with each other on a daily basis. To share ideas, thoughts, have a conversation, in business, to interact with clients, and somehow give a business its own unique "voice".

Even though software like tweetattacks is being chased out, Twitter is still full of spammers and bots. Internet marketers have learned to adapt and will continue to do so. It's just too many eyeballs on these sites (Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, etc) for them to be left alone.
