What you are about to read might be a little shocking. Why? Because it’s so freakishly long. It contains a 6-month action plan for marketing your business online and if you can read it all in one go you’re a hero or a raging insomniac. I’d recommend bookmarking it to use as an ongoing reference guide.

The Noob Guide to Online Marketing


I stumbled across this guide from seomoz. It's what is meant to be a 6 month course on Internet marketing. It's a bit of a long read, but I would like to now what you think about it. When I read through it a few minutes ago, it gave me a bit of a refresher into areas i had completely forgotten about.

Do you think this is good for a newbie? Would they be able to learn from this? or have they forgotten a few aspects?

Would love to hear your thoughts.

SEOMoz is great site and have some great stuff and staff
I didn't read this, but I'm sure it is great read not only for beginners but also for advanced as far as I have browsed trough it.

There are a few posts from SEOmoz I still want to add. They are in different forums though, which is why I haven't added them here. I have read through some, and its really good for beginners as it shows you everything you need to do from day one. To be honest, it gave me even more ideas to implement in my marketing campaign as well. (I just need to make a few more notes )

I gain a lot of knowledge through SEOmoz, and they even have their own calculation on their version of PR which is mozRank, sometime my site score higher in mozRank eventhough my PR is zero

Yea I agree SEOmoz is a great website, I read all there post. Great find, cant believe I have never seen this.

Thanks for the resource, Bookmarked. I have heard stuff about SEOmoz but never really ventured into looking but I certainly will now, hopefully gain some great tips.

SEOmoz is great place to learn.They are expert in search engine engineering and even they have their own engineers to deal with SE problems, i don't have chance yet to attend their courses, maybe one day
