So yes, keep doing it and keep learning how to do it better...leading to more skills, leading to more experience, leading to more credibility.

LOL I have my own virtual wikipedia stored in my brain somewhere. I've read so much, but at the same time, a lot of it is nonsense. You need to be able to see through the hype, veils, bells and whistles. I've finally gotten some time to get back into my forums for a bit, and some posts really shocked me. It really is amazing to see just how many people there are out there that don't know how to optimize a site properly, or how to market a site once the design is done. They choose the wrong keywords, struggle endlessly to get the site ranked, using a badly designed website that ultimately leads to a high drop rate. IMHO you don't do things like that lightly without researching tons, testing, more testing, and then finally start optimizing, and making sure you research keywords and keyword phrases properly. There are so many posts, articles etc. online that tell you how to do it, some are right, some are wrong, some are so obscure, it leaves a new IM asking even more questions. Sometimes I just think that I should put a book together, answering every question ever asked in a forum, properly, with references, instead of letting newbies fall prey to "know it alls" that send them in the wrong direction.

Information overload is dangerous if you're starting out online.
You'll lose so much time trying everything...for nothing.

Most of us went through that stage...

I did as well. Trying just about everything. In the end I found a few techniques, and I have stuck to them ever since. It's just that, with so many people out there, they each have their own techniques, skills, ideas, and they all want people to buy into "their way". In the end, you're left even more confused than you originally were starting out.

i've been there and done that... information overload can cause you wanna try all the thing that ever exist in IM world (such as CPA,PPC, PPL, adsense, etc) in one day, in the end, you do nothing at all due to you can't focus which one best for you

Yes, that's what I advise my customers and those who get some coaching from me (private, because they've bought several products from me)...
Finish what you started and stick with it until you're done. Don't try to work on different projects/techniques/methods/websites at once.
When you finish a project you can start generating revenue from it and start the next project.

You'll save loads of time and you benefit sooner...

i agreed, that's the best approach you need to follow, if you do like to enter the adsense world, just stick to adsense first, until you find or achieve your target. don't even get bother with other stuff that can make you wanna quit IM asap (due to much work to focus)

I think skill is the most important. By having skill, you can earn money and build your reputation easily.

    Why I don’t choose reputation?
Believe or no, reputation can be obtained even without money and skill. You just need to do some rhetoric and fake screenshot to branding yourself and make people believe in you. This is ironic but it happens in my country. A lot of newbie can sell e-books, earn money, and brand himself as a guru.

    Don't underestimate this.

The internet and especially how people use it has changed a lot in the last few years.
It's not as easy anymore to build up a rep from nothing. You'll need to have some resources to reach your specific targeted prospects.
For example solo ads from big boys in your market to offer content and build your own list.

The best way to build your rep is through your mailing list, giving your subscribers what they want and later it will be a small step for them to buy from you.
Newbies are selling mostly outdated crap or cheap low quality PLR products and those who know what they want will recognize this.
One hundred more experienced marketers and better products for every free newbie ebook... Most newbies keep failing because of this.

I takes great efforts to reach that level. Extensive knowledge and marketing to be one of those. People start out by hearing such stories and think they have the brightest idea but not everyone is a creator and end up spamming instead of promoting something worthwhile.

    That's a very good question.

I think 1st we need money, why? its related to skill yourself like - make training, collect e-book etc. or if you have already skill & some money then you need to work hard to continue all of this.

I can understand that as well. Money is important, but I think that before you invest money, you would need to be sure of your skills so that you do not run at a loss. There are many IM's that start out with free services, and then make their way to using paid options. many ump right in at the deep end using paid services, so maybe its all a matter of choice? or the best option to follow at the time?

Yeah, I would say Skill first coupled with Integrity. Then the money and reputation flow from persistent efforts fueled by skill and integrity.

I personally believe Skill is the more important of them. Though with money you can buy someone else's skills.

Skill is definitely the most important. Sometimes though, you need money to gain certain skills, or, as geekbuckley said, use someone else's. Which is where integrity and reputation plays a big role. You need to be certain that the person's skills that you use are reputable and won't damage your own reputation. Do you think that you could build reputation without money?

Skill and reputation bring the potential to earn money.

All tie hand in hand and money is the last in the equation.
