All they are authority sites, where we can earn money as well, we can see some people are already using these sites and promoting their products, services, selling affiliate products, promoting affiliate programs and lot more other things as well...
These sites are also good for building links to any site, in terms of domain age, they have old domain age so they would give good link juice and they are also authority sites it is also good from SEO point of view.
Did GoArticles change? Last I knew they were an almost auto-approved article directory. There was no revenue sharing program there.
A better post would be tips on how to get the most out of each of these sites.
These are really good sites but there are many more which are helping article writers earn money online. I really love Info barrel as it accepts only quality work and content on that site is most useful for readers of articles. There are lots of ways to get the most out of those sites and there is a need for discussion and research on this topic.

Well, people are earning good money from Amazon also, you need to learn first, try to check Amazon related threads those threads would help you a lot.
There is a slight difference that Hubpages, Squidoo and Ezinearticles accept only unique content and duplicate content is penalized on these site. Unlike other article submission which accept duplicate content articles as well.
