Thread: There are many ways to getting traffic

It depends on you what ways you like to get traffic, some people join discussion places to get traffic, some people do social marketing to get traffic and some people do SEO to get traffic.

But I would say that SEO is very hard, once you optimized your keywords then it would go longer according to your effort so it is really good as well.

SEO is obviously the best if you can put your head around it. I can take years to master. The next one I had good success are Traffic Exchanges even though many will tell you the traffic is not of high quality, I disagree. With Traffic Exchanges it's a numbers game and as the Top referrer, I can say that I'm winning in the game. I would then rate PPC's and PPV's,PPA's etc if you have a budget of course.

SEO is the best way. Unique Content, Interresting Content, Videos, Pictures and so on. Marketing with youtube and if you have a good onlineshop flyers, posters, radio, tv and magazine are good methods to become visitors / customers.

Seo is very easy if you know how to do it.

I am 100% agree with you that these all above given works are absoultly working in getting traffic but one of themost easiest way for getting traffic is social networking.You can earn lots of traffic from them .

Good discussion and I have come to know many new tactics and ways for getting traffic by taking part in this discussion. If someone has another way or technique in addition to above mentioned ones then please do share it on this thread.

I also agree that SEO can give quality and good number of traffic depending on your effort but it would be competitive as per niche so you have to select keywords wisely, I would suggest use long tail keywords for optimizing them in short time and these kind of keywords are targeted also.

In my opinion, SEO is an on-going process which demands constant monitoring and inputs.

You consistently need to do something new, else your capaign will saturate and things will cone to a halt.

To beat you competitors, you have to keep looking for new fruitful strategies.

You have to target the low competitive and high search volume keywords. and need to optimized the website content related to your keywords and work on off page optimization.

I agree that SEO is a hard/tough task to do but it is the best way to get traffic. In SEO you have to do quality work and defiantly it pays you a handsome amount . So, I would like to choose this way to get traffic.

I got to say that getting organic traffic from the search engine is indeed the best way to get traffic and facebook is another good avenue and you can create a fan page for almost anything.

Optimize your site for search engines.
Frequently update the contents of your site.
Take advantage of social bookmarking sites.
Use your Twitter and Facebook accounts.
Get links with other sites in your niche
Use any chance to promote your site for free.
Create a free product or service.
Use offline promotion.
