Hi,

If I want to do internet marketing course then can I do it from any university also?

More and more universities are adding IM to the curriculum, but I suspect that the courses are more orientated to a corporate position in an Internet Marketing department than as an independent Internet Marketer.

There are many places you can do courses for internet marketing. The course I did was online, which made it a lot more convenient for me as I could work and study comfortably without having to worry about schedules etc. Universities, I think cover internet marketing in their marketing courses. Many marketing products online give you the option to train with them, as well as online universities that will even train you for free.

Another thing you could also do is read a lot of marketing material found online. Just about everyone wants their knowledge passed on now days, which means it is really easy to pick up an ebook with a lot of relevant information. It all depends on you, the amount of time you can spend studying, and the amount you are willing to pay for your studies.

There also universities which offers on-line education right? But I'm not quite sure if there is a course which is related to internet marketing. What I know is on-line universities just offer courses on programming and designing. There are also sites which gives you information in full scale about internet marketing.

Definitely, but you then wouldn't have a qualification, but you will have all the knowledge you need to be successful. It can even help with your studies themselves. There are inline universities that deal with marketing online. I'm just not sure where you would need to write your exams. They could be online exams or you might need to sit in at a local university to write your exam.

Internet marketing is not a rocket science, so I wouldn't spend years studying internet marketing. If your goal is to learn how to make money online, it's better to start taking some action now and learn on the go. Doing something that makes you money online is the best way to learn how to make money online.

True, but having something to show your clients as an incentive to doing business with you is also a great idea. If you're working for yourself, or you have years experience it could really be easy to get new clients. But for a newcomer, its going to be really hard unless they have something that other IM's don't have.

You can try Marketing Webinar Series by KakushinWebinars.com it is not a course - much more case studies or insights by experts in the field of online marketing. In my opinion its better than university education as online marketing needs to be as current as possible. And after watching this simply go for action and try it on some real cases...
