What kind of knowledge should I have already so that I can run it easily.

Do I also need to use paid forum posters to kick start the forum or it would develop itself?

If you have good financial resources then why not push through on forum posters. But isn't it that unethical. Some of the positive attitude you need to have is being goal oriented and have the wide knowledge in terms of on-line marketing. It would always be beneficial if you are knowledgeable with what you are doing.
