I am not from the same online marketing field but I have read much about it. According to my knowledge and experience, for any business, you have to be qualitative. If you perform quality work in sense of satisfying your customers according to their needs then it will be the best way to increase your traffic.

A web video does not necessarily require any of the listed skills. It can be a slide show with a music or voice-over background. If it is well done it can be successful in promoting your site. This could even be done in Windows Movie Maker.

Use the methods you're already using, but do it more and try to find ways to make it more effective.
Then there's always paid traffic: PPC (not as effective as most think), solo ads (check warriorforum joint venture section), if you have a product find JV partners (I've been putting a lot of time in acquiring partners and affiliates who promote for me), etc..

I agree this is also applicable. But I never thought of it before. I just thought it was a burden to make a live video and do all the acting and flashing a fake smile. I never feel easy in front of the camera so never thought about a video. The slide show and stuff is good and I'll make one.

Try to create relations with good websites related to your product. For example if you are dealing in wholesale business then try to contact with wholesale websites and communicate with them to promote your website. Try to post your website name on their websites so that all the visitors from other websites also visit your website. It is the best way to increase your traffic.

If you want to get more traffic to your website then according to me you must be daily work with social networking sites like twitter, google plus, digg, delicious etc. Social bookmarking also use for increase traffic to your website.
