Do you filter your traffic and use different ads for traffic from different countries ? I'm developing a site with geo targeting. I'm using Amazon since I can show ads from different Amazon sites to visitors from different countries.

I have used geo targeting in my company site. It helps a lot, because they have offices in Australia, so people can either use the online ordering facilities, or got to their offices and get a more personal approach to what we do.

I find that you dont have to do geo targeting if you live in the in the usa for amazon because you have only English viewers seeing your iste

GEO targeting is another part of earning. Everything depends on your niche and quality of the website.

But There are other English speaking countries like Canada and UK. They prefer buying things from Amazon.ca and Amazon.co.uk because they get shipping free most of the time. Also most Amazon.com offer are for US only. There are other big markets too like Germany and France apart from Canada and UK. if you use only .com sites then all your traffic from those other countries will be wasted.

Not necessarily. It depends on how your site is optimized and the services you are selling. If your site is targeting an office where people have to go to to get the service or product, then adding a geotag would work perfectly, if your service or product is online, or is downloadable, then you don't necessarily need to, unless you have the option where people in your area can go to your office and meet you personally and get the product or service.
