I have been wondering how to make my new forum busy with active members? Guys please share your ideas, tips and tricks too if there were any!
What exactly you want to know, installing a forum under your domain or how to make a forum filled with active thread/posts/members. If you're asking for first, than i'll say me too is wanted to know how to install a forum under my domain and if you're asking for second then i'll say it needs lots of effort to make a forum active. :)
Give some incentives to posters. It does not have to be in monetary form. One more way is adsense sharing. Another way is banner exchange or ad exchange. There are a lot more.Quote:

you can try it with new registration and do not disclose your password to any one.you can active it by posting new threads and quality of posting .you can also hire some forum poster .they will post some relevent thread by which discusion is going for longer day.
What about offering different prize winning schemes to attract people to the forum because I see people at different forums doing such things

Adsense sharing is a good idea as it increases the traffic plus try to give some incentive if possible.
