Thread: Best way to get traffic

I’m still going with traditional way to get traffic, SEO. Since people still use search engine as their main way to search information, I think SEO is never die. Moreover, I don’t always have enough budgets for PPC campaign.

i think the best way is blog commanding and article posting

Can anyone suggest traffic generate method without spending money.

'Without spending money' method is a lot mate, what do you must concern is TIME, if you have more TIME, you can just forget about spending money one of the method you can just participate in popular forum/blog on your niche, and give comment/posting that stand out among each other, when people read your comment/posting, they wanna know who you are

Lots of ways for without spending money generate traffic like free article submission, Free directory submission, Social bookmarking, share your post on social networking sites such as facebook, twitter etc, free classifieds sites, Free press release, RSS submission sites etc..
These all submissions are use for generate free traffic.

SMO is the technique of improve traffic fast.

SEO is powerful...
However organic seo is more good today. Create your page by using 1 keyword only per page.

Also time has changed. just getting back links is not good enough anymore. Now you keep link wheels. It's not only your main site you optimize now you need to optimize your second tier and tier sites / profiles too. So Social bookmarking and Social networking sites are the best way to do this. These sites offer you profiles and you can seo and ping these profiles and that will help your second tier sites to rank better. At end your main site gain more.

years ago directory submissions was a big thing. I used to do it a lot and lot. Then recent years I realized things are not same as old days.

Creat high quality unique contents and do some backlinking that's the best way to get targeted organic traffic!

Still nothing can beat organic traffic from Google and other major search engines.

For my to this day my best source of traffic is organic traffic thanks to using ONE single tool...

Article Marketing Robot. If you take the time to actually spin a GOOD quality content article, you're going to receive traffic from the article directories itself.

Already using a few of that methods, anyway thanks for the information.

- your website / blog links (internal links)
- all the links back to your website or blog (articles about your product or service, the links to your bookmarked links in all the social bookmarking sites)

Traffic Exchange is something I would advise you to stay away from.
The only way this method can be safe is to us a 3rd page.

Ultimately, I think SEO is the best form of traffic as it is not 'forced' traffic. It is genuine people who are looking for your sort of website who are then interested in your website's description in the SERPs and therefore visit your site.

I do however thing Google Adwords is GREAT especially for some quick money (if you've got the money to put in at the beginning).

I would STEER CLEAR of Facebook Ads. It's set up great, looks great, in fact, it looks foolproof but you can easily lose money in it. Be careful!

Where are best places to submit lists?

You don't submit the whole list at once or at one place. You need the lists (list of your internal pages, list of articles that have backlinks to your main or internal pages) to make sure you create backlinks or articles with backlinks to all this pages too.
Best places to submit:
Social Networks (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
Social Bookmarking (Digg)
Web 2.0 sites
Article Directories
DeepLink Directories
etc.
